MORR Thanks
BFGoodrich for Their Continued Support of Sportsman Off-Road Racing
Appleton, WI (March
24, 2011) - BFGoodrich Tires continues to support short-course
off-road racing with a contingency program that supports both the PRO
and Sportsman competitor in the 2011 TRAXXAS TORC Series presented by
AMSOIL. The Sportsman based membership of Midwest Off-Road Racing (MORR)
thanks BFGoodrich Tires for their commitment to short-course off-road
racing.
The BFG contingency
offer, administered by TORC, for the Sportsman racers, rewards first
place finishers competing on BFGoodrich Tires. The total Sportsman
offer is valued at $15,000.
“Regardless of the
economic times of our country,” comments BFGoodrich Tires
representative Nate Hunt, “It is vitally important to support the
competitors that use and recommend our tires, because ultimately they
are the driving force behind our business.”
“BFGoodrich first
supported the Midwest off-road racer with a contingency program back
in 1979,” noted MORR Board Member Mike Reusche. “Their commitment to
off-road racing, whether it’s on the Baja peninsula or on the
short-course tracks of the Midwest, is unheralded, and the MORR
membership to proud that BFGoodrich continues to support our sport.”
