MORR Board
meeting update for 9/14/10
The MORR Board and Original Members met in Appleton, WI at
the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel, the site of the 2010 TORC
Sportsman Champion’s Banquet. We met with the hotel’s
executive manager to tour the hotel and banquet halls, and
to negotiate an affordable banquet for the sportsman
drivers. The date of the 2010 banquet was set for 11/13/2010
The Board talked about our expectations for the banquet and
how to make this a huge event for our sport. A committee was
set up to run the dinner, decorations, entertainment,
awards, and everything related.
The Board voted on a points payout system that will
distribute the money from TORC, the tracks, and our
contingency sponsors.
MORR will have a general membership meeting the day of the
2010 banquet at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel. Board
Directors and Original Members will speak about the 2010
year in review and goals for 2011.
MORR will also hold its annual Board Director Election at
the general meeting. Three Board positions are up for
election and nominations have already been taken. All
candidates will have the opportunity to speak to the
membership about their goals. Voting members will be able to
cast their vote immediately after the meeting.
Invitations to the 2010 TORC Sportsman Champion’s Banquet
will be sent to our membership and all TORC drivers asap.
