I have been off-road racing for the last 12 years. I
want to serve on the MORR Board because of my passion
for the sport.I want to make sure all classes are
represented, big or small. It’s important all the
Sportsman stand together to work for the best interest
of all Sportsman racing.

I would like to continue my efforts by representing
the Sportsman drivers on the MORR board for multiple
reasons. For the last 18 years, I have been an
elected official for the Abrams Town Board, acting as
Supervisor. Within my role as Supervisor, I am
committed to fighting for the rights of the majority
of the people, and have mastered the ability to put my
own best interests and needs off to the side when
representing a group. I have a full understanding of
the commitment that is needed to represent Sportsman
Drivers as I have been class representative for
several years, for both Enduro and Sportsman Stock
classes in the past. I have been involved in many
facets of off-road racing since 1985. Included in my
history are driver, co-driver, mechanic, crew chief,
and class representative. Off-Road racing is my
passion. I love the sport, love the people, and love
the fans.

I've been involved in off- road racing for over 20
years over 18 in lite buggy. I have been class rep.
for 15 years, going all the way back to the SODA days.
I was also one of original organizers of MORR. My
goals are to keep sportsman off-road racing
affordable, fun ,with good paybacks and to make sure
we have places to race in the future.

I was
involved in the initial formation of MORR and I am
very happy with what we've accomplished over the last
9 months. I am currently racing pro-light but look
back to my success in the sportsman divisions and want
to give other sportsman racers that opportunity. This
past year my daughter had the opportunity to race
Super Buggy and I hope she can continue with that next
year. I want the Midwest sportsman to be able to race
at an affordable level in a safe environment and I
want them to
be rewarded for their successes monetarily and through
proper media recognition. I think MORR has
accomplished a lot in 2010 but I thinkour job has just
begun. As a sportsman racer that has recently
struggled to survive at the pro level I think I offer
knowledge and insight to help MORR secure the long
term future of racing in the midwest for both the pro
and sportsman racer as they need each other. I have
shown my dedication to MORR as Vice President
throughout the 2010 season and I look forward to the
opportunity to continue to help MORRaccomplish its
goals for 2 more years.
