Howe Performance Offers $14,000 in Contingency for TORC Competitors

January 26, 2010 (Appleton, WI) - Howe Performance, an industry leader in performance power steering components, is proud to announce its participation in the contingency program for the 2011 Traxxas TORC Series. Howe Performance is the first company to sign on to the MORR contingency plan for 2011 TORC season.

In 2010 Howe Performance created a contingency plan for the TORC/MORR Sportsman racers that was valued over $10,000. For the 2011 season, the Howe plan is available to seven of the Sportsman classes; Classix, Enduro Truck, Formula 4x4, Single Buggy, Super Stock Truck, Super Buggy, and Super Truck, as well as all three PRO divisions; PRO-Light, PRO-2, and PRO-4x4. The total posting is valued at $14,000.

“Short-course off-road racing is important to our business,” noted Jeff Howe, president of Howe Performance. “The contingency program is a great way of thanking our customers for a job well done.”

Howe Performance offers performance steering components for other forms of motorsports beyond the off-road world, but Jeff’s passion for the dirt is evident in his duties as the spotter for the #7 PRO-4x4 truck of Douglas Motorsports. Since the 1980’s, Howe Performance has supported off-road events throughout North America.

The Traxxas TORC Series presented by AMSOIL offers fourteen rounds of racing for its PRO and Sportsman competitors, with events scheduled in the Midwest, Southeast, South, and Rocky Mountain regions of the United States The 2011 TORC PRO season begins April 30 in San Antonio, Texas, while the Sportsman will begin their season, May 28, as both the divisions hit the track in Buchanan, MI.
