MORR Drivers Go to Speedzone to Promote Upcoming Oshkosh TORC
event
Bark River Info/MORR Contingency Update
Appleton, WI (July 6, 2010) - Last Friday evening, Pat Flanagan
and Dan Vanden Heuvel brought five MORR member race vehicles to
the weekly circle track program at the Oshkosh Speedzone to
promote the upcoming PRO/Sportsman Traxxas TORC series presented
by AMSOIL off-road event
Representing the various Sportsman classes was:
#90 - Matt Gerald, Super Buggy
#402 - Dennis Bruskewitz, Formula 4x4.
#502 - Ryan Rebman, Enduro Truck
#833 - Nick Byng, Super Stock Truck
#299 - Mike Vanden Heuvel, Limited 2 Truck
Along with Pat and Dan, several other MORR members were on hand,
answering questions and passing out flyers about the upcoming
off-road event held July 23 -24.Ryan Rebman had his Enduro Truck
teched by the circle track officials and raced in one of the
Street Stock heat races. Then during intermission Ryan ran more
laps as Mike Vanden Heuvel chased him down in his Limited 2
Chevy truck.
"If the reaction from the circle track fans were any indication
of how popular off-road racing is in the Fox Valley, the TORC
event should be a sellout," exclaimed Kaiko Motorsports team
owner, Don Kohler.
If you are in the Fox Valley area in the coming weeks, look and
listen for the radio and television commercials promoting the
PRO/Sportsman Traxxas TORC series presented by AMSOIL off-road
event.
The next few weekends Dan Vanden Heuvel will coordinate more
off-road exhibitions at the circle track races. Interested
racers and volunteers can contact Dan for more information @
920-915-8777.
Again thanks to all that came out to lend a hand promoting the
most extreme form of motorsports, Short-Course Off-Road Racing!!
