1. Any truck or sport utility style vehicle
2. The body must match the silhouette of a vehicle produced of at least
5,000 per year
3. Must have full body made of steel, aluminum, or fiberglass
4. Maximum track width 93”, no minimum
5. Maximum wheelbase 122”, no minimum
 

A. Suspension:
1. coil or leaf springs allowed
2. coil carriers allowed w/no internal valving
3. 3 or 4 links bars, sway bars, or rap up bars allowed
4. max. wheel travel front 16”,rear 18”
5. min. ride height 10”
6. 4 “ travel bump stops allowed
7. 1-3”,1-2½, or multiple 2” shocks per allowed
8. remote reservoir and bypass shocks allowed
 

B. Vehicle weight:
1.must weigh a minimum of 10 lbs. Per cubic inch with driver
2. Minimum weight of 4'000 lbs.
 

C .Engine:
1. single 2 or 4 barrel carb only
2. no fuel injection allowed
3. alum or cast intake manifolds only
4. alum or cast heads only
5. cast iron production blocks only
6. max 499 cu in. w/1 3/4 roll cages
7. Dry sump systems allowed
8. Engine-transmission-transfer case in that order only
 

D. Fuel / ignition:
1. 110 octane max. No additives
2. MSD 6AL,marine,or NASCAR boxes only, all wiring subject to inspection
3. max rpm chip allowed is 7,500. To be issued and sealed by tech. officials
4. rev. chip is subject to change for the spirit of competition
E. transmission:
1.aluminum or cast production units only.
2. aluminum torque converters or drive drums not allowed
3. stock gear ratios only
 

F. transfer case:
1. aluminum or cast production cases only
2. no under or overdrive aftermarket units allowed
3. electrical,reostatic,or variable control of cases not allowed. Must
always be fully engaged in 4-wheel drive during competition
4. changing of internal gearing or parts allowed
 

G. Front/Rear axles:
1. rear spool ,front open carrier, any gear ratios allowed
H. Wheels / tires:
1. 8” or 10” x 15”, 8” or 10” x 16”, 9” x 17” wheels allowed
2. bead locks w/ recessed bolts allowed
3. max tire size 12.50” x 35”
4. inner liners not allowed
5. D.O.T. tires min. tire psi. 13 lbs , Project tires min. tire psi. 20 lbs. , at
starting line.
 

I. Brakes:
1. no restrictions on rotor or caliper size
2. steering or cutting brakes on front allowed
3. brake pedal must stop all 4 wheels
